The banned book project was very interring to me, this is the beginning of only my second year at High Tech community and I love projects like this that I would not usually be involved in. For this project we had the free choice of any book, while reading the book we would write 5 journal entries in sections of the book. Once done, we were to make a video talking about the book. Here is more of the project:

1) How challenging was this project for you?
For a while I would read a lot of Ellen Hopkins books but when they started getting a bit too dark I took a break and had not read one before this; the most challenging part was going back to a dark time for a bit. Not to the point where it affected me but definitely to the point where I'll most likely take a break from reading another book from this author for a while.
2) What was the easiest part of this project?
I wouldn't necessarily say any part of the project was necessarily/significantly easier or harder than each other.
3) How comfortable did you feel making your video?
I felt very comfortable making my video, I really enjoyed expressed my creativity and I loved this opportunity.
4) Did you receive critique and feedback from anyone? If so who/ Was the feedback helpful?
As a class we interacted with our classmates and got to compare journal entries. The feedback was alright but since my work was late so I didn’t necessarily get the most help that I could’ve.
5) Did you provide kind, specific, and helpful feedback in the journal workshops? Were these sessions helpful and/or fun?
I got to give feedback to one of my classmates about the journal entries. Theses sessions were fun but not extremely helpful.
6) Did you actually read the book you chose?
Yes, I did read the book. The video pushed me to read the book and it's a coming of age story with loss of innocence and no filter, like at all man.
7) What grade do you think you deserve?
I think I deserve like a C because yes, I did the project but I procrastinated and turned in this all in late.
8)If you could change something about this project, what would it be?
I actually think the project was fine as it is but I disliked the journal entries because they took time and effort I didn’t want to give.
