Cultural Connections
Dia De Los Muertos Reflection
1.How challenging was this project for you? Be specific.
This project wasn’t challenging for me at all, it was really cool being involved with something culture related. Choosing a subject and bringing my vision to life was really easy, I even did the challenge option!
2. What did you enjoy most about this Cultural Connections project?
I think just learning deeply about the history of the culture really made the project and learning a bit richer for me. Making my actual offering was by far what I enjoyed the most.
3. Did you receive critique and feedback from anyone (teacher, parent, classmate, etc)? If so, who? Was the feedback helpful? (This could be for any part of the project, illustrated journal, ofrenda, exhibition)
I received critique and feedback from my fellow peers and groupmates. The feedback was indeed helpful and helped my writings for the illustrated journal to become better.
4. What grade do you think you deserve? Why?
I think I deserve a B, because I actually tried in this project and I think my effort definitely showed (Ex: Doing the challenge option). I also feel like I put a lot of thought and parts of me into this project, I can overall say it’s something I wouldn’t mind showing off again.
5. If you could change something about this project, what would it be?
I feel like the Cultural Connections project was something that was fun but overall not very challenging. I feel like adding more would help make this projected a bigger learning experience.
