What did you learn about your country/region of choice through this project? Explain what and how.
The country I chose was Bolivia, something intresting was when I learned was that even though Bolivia is a third world county, they have the world's largest statue of Jesus. In the start of learning about Bolivia, we struggled. Only having scratched the surface, we fell in love and were hungry for more. Alas information we needed was present. It was difficult to put all the small pieces together, especially when there's not much to put together. Although we struggled Bolivia was fun and entertaining to learn about. What item did you recreate? Why did you choose this item? Are you glad you recreated this item after seeing the final products at exhibition? The item my group and i chose to recreate was the giant Bolivian Jesus. We chose to do this product because when there isn't much to show off, you make something bigger. Standing at 11 feet and 11 inches was an uphill battle. Over all I was proud of the idea but not the overall quality of the item. With one more day I believe the project would've been something much, much better. Describe your prototype process. Was this process helpful/successful? When building the prototype, we spent no time planning, no time thinking ahead, we kind of just started building. This process was successful but after a while Jesus was starting to fall apart. Based on what you saw at exhibition, which other country would you be interested in learning more about? Explain why. Spain Do you feel proud of your booth, product, and overall participation at exhibition? Explain why and how. Provide at least 4 photos of your booth and yourself at exhibition. |
